Striped Bobble Afghan

I am currently working on another blanket. I will show pictures when it's done. I adjusted the last Bobble Blanket pattern to make just stripes instead. If you want the pattern for the stripe one, let me know and I will post it. I am having a little bit harder time finding the time to work on this blanket. After having a baby boy, and trying to take care of him while making sure my other two boys don't destroy my house, and all the cooking and cleaning, I just don't have much time for crocheting. I am going to make some time though. After God and Family comes Crocheting.

Diamond Bobble Baby Blanket

I enjoyed making this. I made it for my youngest of three sons. I am working backwards, because now I am working on blankets for the other two. This is my first experience with the Bobble Stitch. I did not do the edging on this blanket.

Row 1 - 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next ch, ch 1, miss next ch, *1 sc in each of next 11 ch, ch 1, miss next ch, repeat from * to last 2 ch, 1 sc in each of last 2 ch, ch 3, turn.

Repeat rows 2 thru 13 for pattern

Continue in pattern until work from beginning measures approx 45", ending with row 3 of pattern and omitting turning ch at end of last row. Fasten off.

Edging: Join yarn with sl st at top right corner of Afghan, ch 3, work 1 rnd dc around entire afghan working 3 dc in corners, join with sl st to top of ch 3, work 2 more rnds of dc as before. Fasten off.
